Aiko and Mizuki are experiencing the uncertainty of life as 20 year olds in Tokyo-dealing with the responsibilities of adults while enjoying the hell out of the days in their youth.
Aiko loves sugar, spice and everything nice. She wears her heart on her sleeve, her naivety making her a certified hopeless romantic.
Mizuki on the other hand, isn't a force to be messed with. Her feisty attitude and potty mouth keeps the right people in and wrong people out. With dreams of becoming a rockstar, she and her band plays in numerous punk gigs in hopes of making their debut.
On the 13th of October, which happens to be their birthday, they decided to pay a visit to their favourite bookstore. Lo and behold, the girls reached out for the same magazine and caught each other's eye.
Despite clearly being from different worlds, the girls instantly hit it off. While their friendship grows stronger as the days pass, it is tested on days where they don't see eye to eye.
Will Aiko and Mizuki ever learn to accept each other's differences, and continue nurturing their unlikely friendship?
